Deputy General Manager of Technology and Operations

Tayfun DAR completed his undergraduate degree in Physics at Gazi University and later earned a master’s degree in Business Administration. He began his career at TÜRKSAT Satellite Communication, Cable TV, and Operations Inc. as an Assistant Specialist and was later promoted to Specialist.

In 2018, he was appointed Director of Satellite R&D and Innovation, where he managed the TÜRKSAT 6A National Communication Satellite Project and several other R&D projects focused on domestic and national products. His work has included contributions to IoT, 5G, 5G/LEO Constellation, and high-frequency band communication technologies. From 2018 to 2023, he led the TÜRKSAT Model Satellite competition under Teknofest. He also coordinated TÜRKSAT A.Ş.’s first and only entrepreneurship innovation project, Yörünge.

In May 2024, Tayfun DAR was appointed Deputy General Manager of Technology and Operations at ULAK Communications Inc. He is responsible for managing various projects, including the use of national and domestic resources in GSM communication technologies, base stations, and SD-WAN technologies in the communication sector.

Tayfun DAR is fluent in English.
