Between 2007 and 2017, he held managerial positions at the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of National Defense, where he led significant initiatives aimed at technological transformation in industrial production and the advancement of the Turkish Armed Forces.
From 2018 to 2021, he served as the Head of the Communications, Electronics, and Information Systems (MEBS) Department at the Presidency of Defence Industries. He subsequently led the Electronic Warfare and Radar Systems (EHRS) Department from 2021 to 2022. During this period, he played a key role in the development and implementation of critical defense projects such as electro-optic cameras for UAVs, indigenous identification friend or foe (IFF) systems, AESA-based radars, and electronic warfare systems integrated into land and aerial platforms.
In 2022, he joined ASELSAN as the Sector Head for Microelectronics, Guidance, and Electro-Optics (MGEO) and Deputy General Manager. On June 22, 2023, he was appointed General Manager of ASELSAN.
Throughout his career, he has held board member and vice chairman roles at various companies including HAVELSAN, HTR, and Quantum3D. He currently serves as a board member at TÜBİTAK-SAGE, which oversees Türkiye’s major missile programs, and at SAHA Istanbul, the largest defense industry cluster in Europe. He also represents Türkiye as a member of NATO’s Science and Technology Organization (STO).
He is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at ULAK Communications Inc.
