Strategic Cooperation Agreement Signed Between ULAK Communication and Gürbağ Defence at IDEF 2025

The 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), where Anadolu Agency (AA) serves as the “Global Communication Partner,” is being held at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM), hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, supported by the Presidency of Defence Industries, and organized under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV) by KFA Fuarcılık AŞ.

At the fair, a cooperation protocol was signed between ULAK Communication and Gürbağ Defence and Technology Inc. The agreement aims to develop secure and high-speed mobile communication solutions and to design them with domestic technology for use in field operations.

Through this cooperation, high-performance, durable, and reliable communication systems will be established in critical areas such as border security, disaster management, and mobile command centers. These solutions, which can be rapidly deployed in the field and are easy to use, will directly contribute to Türkiye’s goals of localization and technological independence in the defense industry.

ULAK Communication General Manager Ruşen Kömürcü stated during the ceremony that their partnership with Gürbağ Defence reflects their commitment to providing communication solutions required in the field through national engineering capabilities.

Kömürcü said, “This protocol will be a strong step forward in Türkiye’s defense technologies.”

Gürbağ Defence and Technology Inc. General Manager Osman Batuhan Bağıban also noted that they are taking an important step that will strengthen Türkiye’s defense industry vision.

Bağıban stated, “ULAK Communication’s leadership in communications and Gürbağ Defence’s expertise in control and guidance engineering will combine through this cooperation to create real synergy in the field.
