A cooperation protocol was signed between ULAK Communication and Kutay Defence for mobile communication.

The 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), where Anadolu Agency (AA) serves as the “Global Communication Partner,” is being held at the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM), hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, supported by the Presidency of Defence Industries, and organized under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV) by KFA Fuarcılık AŞ.

At IDEF, the cooperation protocol signed between ULAK Communication and Kutay Defence aims to strengthen the foundation of fast and uninterrupted field communication by integrating mobile communication infrastructures with sustainable energy solutions.

Within the scope of this cooperation, communication systems with high durability and energy independence will be developed for use in critical areas such as military operations, disaster management, border security, and mobile command centers. These modular and portable solutions are being designed to adapt to different geographical and climatic conditions.

ULAK Communication General Manager Ruşen Kömürcü stated, “The integration of mobile communication infrastructures with sustainable energy systems will enhance continuity and security in communication within critical fields. This collaboration with Kutay Defence reflects our commitment to bringing national engineering and production capabilities to the field.”

Kutay Defence Vice Chairman of the Board Süleyman Varol noted that the cooperation with ULAK Communication is of great importance in uniting the capabilities of the domestic defence industry, adding, “With our own engineering strength and production infrastructure, we are ready to offer solutions that will ensure the sustainability of uninterrupted and secure communication in the field. This agreement aligns with Türkiye’s goal of reducing technological dependency.”

With this protocol, Türkiye will be equipped with national solutions that offer both energy efficiency and communication security in critical communication scenarios, thereby enhancing operational capabilities in the field.
