He began his professional career as a consultant at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. He later held various positions at Türksat A.Ş., including Cable TV Marketing, Cable TV Customer Relations, Satellite Services Customer Relations, and Corporate Communications Director. He also served as Secretary General of the Defense and Aerospace Industry Manufacturers Association (SaSaD). Currently, he is the General Manager of ULAK Communications Inc.

Dr. KÖMÜRCÜ is also an academic, serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the Turkish Military Academy and the Alparslan Defense Sciences and National Security Institute of the National Defense University.

He is fluent in English and French.
