Change of Duty At ULAK Communications Inc.
ULAK Communications Inc., which continues its activities with the goals of increasing national and indigenous solutions in communication technologies, developing critical infrastructures in line with national security priorities, and expanding exports, has announced a change in its General Manager position.
According to the statement made by the company, Sami Duman has been appointed as the new General Manager, taking over the role from Ruşen Kömürcü.
A graduate of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Middle East Technical University, Duman began his career at ASELSAN, one of Türkiye’s leading defense industry organizations. During his tenure at ASELSAN, he served in various positions and assumed responsibilities in numerous projects involving communication systems, defense systems, and high-security infrastructures.
The handover ceremony was held at the company headquarters with the participation of employees. During the program, appreciation was expressed to Ruşen Kömürcü for his contributions throughout his term of office. In his remarks, Kömürcü thanked the team he worked with and expressed his best wishes for the new appointment, emphasizing its significance for both the company and the country.
Sami Duman stated that they will continue to work with strong team spirit to further advance the accumulated expertise and solutions developed to date, and extended his best wishes for the new term to be beneficial for ULAK Communications and the sector.
In the new period, the company plans to focus on artificial intelligence-supported network management, advanced data analytics, end-to-end cybersecurity, and modular and scalable national communication solutions.
ULAK Communications aims to continue its activities in the defense industry, as well as in public institutions and critical infrastructure projects, further contributing to Türkiye’s technology ecosystem.
