ULAK SD-DC (Software Defined Data Center)

Through the cloud platform established using ULAK resources, it is possible to provide corporate services for public institutions and organizations, and SMEs. By combining all physical hardware resources (storage, processor, network, etc.) with developed software-defined network and virtualization systems, a single-center management opportunity is offered. In this way, maximum efficiency and performance are obtained from information infrastructures.

Thanks to the SD-DC product, management is provided by establishing telecommunication infrastructures that require high performance, stability, and efficiency. Thanks to the service-oriented approach, microservices are provided by creating data centers in microservice architecture instead of monolithic layered data centers.

In this structure, it is aimed to create an infrastructure that provides solutions to different needs of many customers by using new generation cloud technologies. Proposed architecture has been established in large-scale users such as many service providers, telecom operators, e-commerce platforms, and mobile operators in the world and continues to serve at the production level for years. By virtualizing end-user environments in a secure, centralized, and isolated manner, remote access is provided from a single interface.

The cloud platform has multi-region support and has a structure that allows managing resources from a single interface. Although there is no restriction on the hardware brand/model on which this solution will work, it is possible to run it on any hardware that meets the needs.

Thus, the problem of dependency on certain producers is eliminated. In the infrastructure designed to grow in a horizontal architecture, it is sufficient to add a new server resource to the system for expansion. All services on the OpenStack management control panel are designed in a fully redundant and highly accessible structure and are configured to automatically take over the load in case of a possible problem with one of these services.

With the ULAK solution, efficiency is kept in the foreground by providing a great deal of savings and mobility in energy, cabling, cooling, and the space occupied by the devices.

With the Next Generation Data Center solution, cabinets, power supply and distribution, cabling, cooling, management and other subsystems and integrated structures work in an integrated manner. Solutions that meet Data Center needs of medium and large-scale institutions are offered in single or double row cabinets, modular structure that allows horizontal expansion. It is aimed to provide high quality service with high efficiency and flexibility in server installation, configuration, compatibility and capacity.

Suggested as a storage solution, Ceph also increases operational functionality of OpenStack thanks to its capabilities such as being software-defined, high-performance, integrated (object, block, file system), highly accessible and scalable, running in a distributed architecture. As with the cloud platform, there are no hardware dependencies. It has an architecture that can easily grow horizontally by adding new server and disk resources and can reach exa-byte scale.

uMAYA SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area Networking)

Türkiye’s first and only national network solution uMAYA SD-WAN, developed with a software-defined approach to make wide area network infrastructures more secure, easily manageable and cost-effective, has been designed as an innovative solution that includes functions that directly affect the end user, such as centralized management, network abstraction, network automation, and enhanced cyber security.

With the project in question, many technological developments such as central control and access, network abstraction, providing a holistic cyber security infrastructure in the network thanks to the advanced NFV offered at the endpoints, and providing infrastructure for hybrid communication of the networks are aimed. Critical data carried on networks are transmitted securely thanks to high security and national encryption algorithms. SD-WAN was launched simultaneously with global competitors and its first commercial sale took place in 2019.

SD-WAN software defined network solution has proven itself in different users such as public, military institutions, service providers and private communication infrastructures. It has been commissioned and served at hundreds of points throughout the country.

  • Virtualization of Network Functions (In End/Central Systems)
  • Software Based Customer End Device Management
  • Virtual Overlay Network Running on Physical Underlay
  • Secure Data Transmission (IPsec Tunneling)
  • Software Based Traffic Management (QoS/Trafic Policing-Shaping) over Different Overlay Tunnels
